Kentucky Derby's pre derby events, a road trip post from the Cherokee Triangle art fair.

    As my local area's pre Derby events have already began this past week, today my husband and I took advantage of the abnormally cool day and went to visit the local 44th annual Cherokee Triangle Art Fair. Traffic and parking were a disaster (Let's be honest), however if you go in the morning at the starting time parking will be better! We went during the peak at 2 PM, which you can't complain as you do not have to pay for parking like some events, however do expect a crowd and a 45 minute drive looking for parking.

    We slowly browsed each booth while strolling up and down the blocked off roads. I did find quite a few items that I would have liked to look at closer, however these booths were rather crowded. Once we were able to get further into the booths, the crowd started to disperse so that we can venture into the booths and look at the products. This is where I stumbled upon Lilypistol Leather and the owner Kelly. What's even better is that she is a fellow Etsy seller!
    Lilypistol Leather is exactly as it sounds leather crafted items. Within a few moments I was able to spot a few things that I wanted and needed. I found a business card holder and a small zippered bag, which is very versatile and can be used as a clutch wallet within my larger handbag or use it as a cosmetic bag like she has advertised!

    The zippered bag is the perfect neutral color of brown that coordinates with darker shades or brown and even chestnut. The bag is the perfect size too, you could easily include your checkbook and cell phone. I plan to shop with Lilypistol Leather again in the future.
