Wondering who is behind this blog?

My name is Stacy, I am a 32 year old Social Media specialist who works in Marketing in the Social Media Industry. I am a very optimistic happy-go lucky person who has a bubbly attitude. Almost anyone you ask to describe me would describe my compassion and kindness towards others.

Its a good thing that I work in a field that I love and have knowledge in.  My love for my family, fashion, art, DIY projects, and my small Etsy store are not the only things I enjoy in life, there are SO many things I can list.

How did the love for fashion and style begin?
Growing up participating in pageants was one of the very beginnings fashion rooted in my life, I am an only child. This means that my mother would make my outfits, or have them made, which gave me no limitations. My mother also let me begin dressing and choosing my outfits from a very young age.  I give my mom credit, her artistic talents were passed down to me. I also modeled for a local modeling company for a few years, where I gained a lot of crucial information about fashion, and believe it or not Marketing.

Background Info, Who I Am, And Do I Know Anything?
I have 11 years professional experience in hair, beauty, fashion, and makeup. My senior year of High School I attended college classes the second half of the school day, I decided though to later pursue a career in Cosmetology. I graduated High School on a Saturday, and was enrolled in Cosmetology School and was taking classes the following Monday. I graduated from Cosmetology school and worked many years as a Hair Stylist. The job was fun, and I loved it however I am a person who is practically allergic to EVERYTHING, and my allergies were only worsening from being around the chemicals.

So what do you do when you have to change your career?
Education, I went back to college for Business this time. I found a love for Marketing, and Management fields, and found it easy to integrate them into the social channels I was already using. I also began making some changes, to start with all the bath and beauty products that I used that break me out had to go.
After many attempts to find natural products and no luck, I turned to the artistic talents that my mother has graced me with. I began making my own products, the products gained attention of friends and family and soon the demand to sell my items grew VERY FAST resulting in my Etsy Store today.

I created this blog to discuss house hold DIY, style, house decor, trends, beauty, fashion, and awesome items that I recommend. If you have any questions or product review requests feel free to email me!
